This water pump has a shortened shaft to allow installation into 1954 and earlier cars & trucks. Requires newer style fan blade. (Also see AF-65 adapter plate which keeps the original water pump & fan blade and mounts in the original position.) Note: rebuilt pumps are sold on an exchange only basis. If no rebuildable core is exchanged add $65.00 core charge. This part is remanufactured and we must have your rebuildable part (core) as an exchange. You will be charged a core charge that will be refunded upon our reciept of your rebuildable core.
